CREATION

In the beginning, so we are told – and shown here, God created the heavens and the earth.  On the first day (possibly longer than 24 hours, agnostics suggest), He separated light from darkness.  On the second day, the land and seas were fashioned by the Almighty’s hand.  On subsequent days the earth was caused to abound with animal and vegetative life of every sort (not to mention mineral riches) until after this extraordinary exertion, the Lord rested on the seventh day, contemplated his Creation, and decided it was good.  Here, with reverential simplicity, is a celebration of the titanic event.
